    Currently seeking an energetic and professional Registered Nurse (RN) with current experience working in a Level III NICU department to work in our elite medical facility in Flower Mound, TX.


    Responsibilities

    Responsible for providing professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. Demonstrates the ability to perform a concise nursing assessment and reassesses and documents the proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes. Responsible to document all nursing care in all assigned patient records. Demonstrates ability to assess patient's and / or significant other understanding of and compliance with instructions and health care teaching. Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times. Notifies appropriate nursing and medical staff to changes in the patient status. Provides direct care to assigned patients.

    Qualifications

    Required Licensure/Certifications:

    -Current nursing Texas or Compact state licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursis upon hire

    -Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
    -AHA BLS certification upon hire

    -NRP certification within 60 days of hire if not current

    -STABLE certification preferred
    -Must have experience in attendance at deliveries
    -Minimum 2 years Level III NICU nursing experience.

     

    Required SKILLS:

    -Customer service abilities including effective listening skills, confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills.
    -Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

    -Flexibility in scheduling
