Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Licensed Physical Therapist provides direct physical therapy services for patients in the inpatient area as prescribed by a physician in accordance with the patient's established plan of care. No set hours guaranteed. PRN work position for weekday/weekends as needed.


 To effectively evaluate patients referred for Physical Therapy
 To develop and implement effective, efficient Physical Therapy treatment programs
 To manage a case load of a variety of diagnoses
 To work a flexible schedule to assist the department in providing consistent provision of Physical Therapy, weekends and holidays, as well as during periods of high census.




  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution approved and accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Must hold an active license in Texas or hold a temporary permit awaiting licensure examination.
  • Posses good organizational and time management skills. Must also have good communicative skills to interact with individuals appropriately, on a professional and non-professional basis.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify and address the needs of population served on inpatient rehab which includes adults (18-64 years), and geriatrics (65 years and above).
  • CPR certification active
